If We are the Body

For over a week now God has been drawing me to blog about being a Vessel of Honor, etc. and today I found out why I was drawing up blank.

We, as Christians, have to be careful in our evaluations of others in the Body. We also have to be careful of what we say. When we test our supposive Brothers and Sisters, if they fail or don’t show fruit, don’t share it with anyone but an Elder.

What do you do when there is no Elder? Why, you take it straight to God! Do not go to our Siblings, even if you’re warning them. I learned today that I only furthered one Brother’s suffering and his anger towards people because of my words. The things I said were said in confidence to those I thought might get caught in this Brother’s problem, but it seems that it only caused me to be one more source of the problem.

Daddy, give me the Wisdom to guard what I say and know what to say when there is a problem. Allow me to glorify You and the Body with my words, that they would be further proof that I am set apart as Your vessel of honor. Thank you for this lesson. In Your Name, Amen.
